 Anita Hampton is Back!

Nationally acclaimed local artist and teacher Anita Hampton will be debuting her innovative approach to teaching painting. Back from an extended sabbatical spent studying the connection between the brain and the creative process, Hampton will be  teaching a 3-day workshop at The Nest Gallery November 10th, 11th and 12th.  She’ll be using her unique and innovative approach to art instruction combining the essence of perceptual painting as it affects the individual artist.  This academic based workshop blends the fundamentals of composition while focusing on the elements of design as it relates to the artist’s perceptions and emotional experience.Instructional goals are designed to help the artist express and achieve their individual voice on canvas. Exercises to shorten the learning curve are shared to help and encourage the painter’s ability to reach higher levels of success while enjoying the art of painting.
